1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Arklyn Smart Home Security System or the GrayTile mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the product or associated services.

2. Product Usage Disclaimer
The Arklyn system is intended to assist with home awareness and is not a replacement for professional alarm systems or emergency services. It provides alerts based on connected sensors and WiFi performance, which may be affected by factors outside of GrayTile Technologies’ control.

3. Connectivity and Performance
Performance depends on:
-A stable 2.4GHz WiFi connection
-Functional device configuration
-Adequate power or battery levels
-App permissions for notifications

GrayTile is not responsible for missed alerts due to WiFi interruptions, incorrect setup, disabled app permissions, depleted batteries, or force majeure events.

4. Warranty Coverage
Please refer to our Warranty Terms & Conditions for detailed coverage information. The standard product warranty is:
-12 months for the Arklyn Hub hardware
-6 months for included batteries and accessories

Extended protection is available through our annual subscription plan. Warranty does not cover user damage, unauthorized modifications, or third-party interference.

5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrayTile Technologies shall not be liable for:
-Direct, indirect, or consequential losses
-Personal injury or property damage
-Theft, break-ins, or failure to prevent intrusion
-Loss of profits, goodwill, or data
-Interruption of service due to outages or technical issues

Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GrayTile Technologies and its affiliates from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:
-Your use of the product or services
-Violation of these Terms
-Violation of third-party rights
-Unauthorized modifications or misuse of the system

7. Software Updates
GrayTile may provide automatic firmware or app updates to improve security, stability, or performance. By using the product, you consent to such updates, which may be applied without prior notice.

8. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
-Setting up the device properly
-Keeping your WiFi network functional
-Ensuring mobile notifications are enabled and working regularly
-Renewing your subscription (if applicable)
-Replacing the sensor batteries in a timely manner and regularly ensuring that they are working correctly

Failure to follow setup instructions or maintain service conditions may impair functionality.

9. Termination
GrayTile reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the mobile app or associated services if you violate these terms or use the system in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the product and services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
